LATEST TECHNOLOGY: FOR BETTER VISION CARE

At EyeWorld Optometry, we believe great eye care begins with regular comprehensive eye exams. Most eye diseases develop without symptoms, making their detection and prevention extremely important.

We offer SAME DAY services for specialty examinations such as glaucoma/macular evaluations. Our eye exams incorporate the latest technology to detect disease and conditions that other exam might miss.

  • OCT EXAM using Nidek Autoflourescent OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) for early detection of sight threatening eye conditions like retinal diseases, detachments, holes, retinal thinning, optic nerve disease, precancerous lesions, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.
  • FUNDUS PHOTOGRAPHY EXAM to provide a scan of retina to detect the presence of current eye disease and provide a permanent record to make important comparisons at future exam.
  • Zeiss Perimeter machine is used to detect visual field loss due to ocular disease, including glaucoma and brain abnormalities.
  • Zeiss iProfiler plus machine takes topographical map of your eye for precise and fingerprint-like prescription to achieve optimal eye glasses lens, RGP contact lens and Orthokeratology(Ortho-K) lens.
